Rev. Stephen Oharek Installed as Pastor

On Friday, August 15, 2008, the Presbytery of the South convened at Reformed Theological Seminary (Orlando) to install the Rev. Stephen Oharek as pastor of Reformation OPC, Oviedo.
Rev. Dr. Charles Hill preached on 2 John, exhorting Stephen and the church to walk in the truth by (a) loving the church, (b) live according to God’s law, and (c) leave Satan’s lies. Rev. Jack Sawyer, minister of Pineville OPC in Pineville, LA, delivered the charge to Stephen from 1 Thess. 5:12 &f., emphasizing the calling to a selfless life and to hard work as a shepherd of God’s flock. Finally, elder Steve Chong of Lake Sherwood OPC delivered the charge to the congregation from Titus 3.
Reformation OPC has already been blessed by Stephen’s ministry among us these past few weeks, and now we rejoice in God’s providence for calling Stephen as our pastor and for bringing his family safely to Florida.
